Standing High Cable Overhead Rope Tricep Extension

Setup

Stand facing away from a high cable pulley holding the rope attachment in both hands at the ends. Raise your hands so they are above and in front of your face and bend your elbows so that upper arms are parallel to the ground, then take one step away from the pulley into a split stance and keep tension on the cable.

Movement Instructions

Press your hands away from your face extending the elbows until arms are straight, then return hands to starting position keeping upper arms parallel to the ground throughout the movement. Repeat.

Comments

Keep your torso upright through the movement, do not bend at the hips or lean forward to help. Upper arms should stay in the same position and parallel to the ground throughout movement, do not swing to help.
