Standing Dumbbell Woodchopper

Setup
Stand with feet wider than shoulder width and knees bent, hold a dumbbell with two hands, arms fully extended at thigh height to one side.
Movement Instructions
Raise weight up and across body keeping arms extended until it is abover head and outside opposite side of the body. Rotate through the upper torso, keeping the shoulders facing square to the weight at all times. Repeat then move to other side and repeat exercise.
Comments
Make sure to keep elbows extended and arms straight, twisting the shoulders and head at the torso to focus exercise on core muscles and not arms.
