Overhand 2 Handle Lat Pulldown

Setup

Grasp the handle attachments with an overhand grip, elbows facing out on the high cable of a duel pulley lat pulldown station. Sit upright with knees bent, secured under the leg support with back straight and arms straight overhead.

Movement Instructions

Pull the handles down to the front of the shoulders, pulling shoulders down and bending elbows, squeezing them down and into the sides. Return handles back to the starting position with arms straight and shoulders up, but do not let the stack down keeping tension on the cable. Repeat.

Comments

Pull handles down using upper back and arms, do not extend hips or back to rock or cheat with momentum. Control the handles on the way back up, do not let it go or touch down.
