Lat Pulldowns

Setup
Grasp the lat pulldown bar with a shoulder width overhand grip on the high cable of a lat pulldown station. Sit upright with knees bent, secured under the leg support with back straight and arms straight overhead.
Movement Instructions
Pull the bar down to the top of the chest pulling shoulders down and bending elbows, squeezing them down and into the sides. Return the bar back to the starting position with arms straight and shoulders up, but do not let the stack down keeping tension on the cable. Repeat.
Comments
Pull bar down using upper back and arms, do not extend hips or back to rock or cheat with momentum. Control the bar on the way back up, do not let it go or touch down.
